Will Blackpink outlive BTS ?

Blackpink are only getting bigger and bigger. Not only in terms of records and sales but also in terms of popularity among other kpop fans and the gp.

The hype around them whenever they comeback only gets bigger and other kpop fans always have bp in their mouths, whether as haters or when they try to compare their faves with them.

On the other hand, bts' last 2 korean comebacks didn't really make much noise outside their fandom and were quickly forgotten.

The hype around bts died down these past 2 years even during their comebacks and soon BTS will have their military service.

Not even a fan of either group but boy groups will always have the upper hand and longevity compared to girl groups.

Women statistically live longer than men. BP are also younger than BTS, so probably yes they will outlive BTS. BP will never have the achievements or legacy that BTS has though.

For BP to outlast BTS the girls would have to legitimately want to continue on as a group / as idols, and I think we all know that's not going to happen. Time will tell when it comes to BTS, but the majority, if not all of them, seem to actually be interested in music and performance as a career rather than something they do from time to time in-between being influencers.

Also if we're talking legacy BTS >>>>> BP already, and it's not even a question.
