Are BP the least original group in kpop?

  • They are a group built through incorporating everything YG has tried and tested with their previous artists.

They are literally YG personified and I don't there's a group out there that has ridden on the back of their labels coattails more

  • You're upset that they look and sound like a YG group? OK then.

Wouldn't that make Twice even less original though? JYP literally tried to copy and paste everything about SNSD. And he did a great job, they ended up outdoing the originals. Doesn't change the fact that they started out as the store brand version.

  • Them and TWICE show nothing new but the same old EVERY comeback. Love sick girls was a good change but nope people pushed back because they want the same they always had.. hurr durr big drop go burr

Lol no-one is upset, just pointing out the hilarity in some BP fans having an houlier than thou attitude in thinking they are the reason certain things are popular.

SNSD had 3 Japanese members and popularised their presence in kpop groups? No

SNSD stuck to 9 or none? Again don't think so, they were doing solo work from very early on and it was a big reason for their success

Twice had similar releases patterns to SNSD? Also, most definitely not.

If SNSD were the key to their success they would have had a bigger debut, like BP did by following everything YG. Unless the SNSD blueprint just wasn't that good hence why they had to get popular their own way? Who knows.
