    Nicki Minaj is a black artist, and the sampled vocals and music are done by the original artist Rick James. So it's her own culture she's appropriating clown. But that's not the case in PV, it's even worse then pretending to be "hood". They literally copied the lyrics and music from other songs. If you were to use songs from other artists, whether it is the music or lyrics, you must properly credit said artists. Did they do any of that? Nope. Hopefully they get sued.

    He thinks that it will sell. And it did sell. That's all it mattered. He can put out anything and it will sell, because the BP brand is huge. It's a very simple fact, no need to deep dive.

    I honestly don't think they did. Snoop said a feature for him will be 500k. Who knows how much these artists will charge for a 'sample'.     The way you know they didn't is because they're not credited. There are specific laws on using samples and lyrics from other songs. But we know how YG moves. Read up how GD tried to plagiarize a song from Timbaland. lol
