Why are aespa still the 4th gen leaders?

Newjeans couldnt outsell them and BP already blocked them on the charts, IVE have only one genuine hit, and Straykids got outsold. How did SM manage to do that?

It is simple as this, they have massive top tier sales + consistent digital charting to back them up. While other 4th gen GG either miss 1 or both side. So aespa overall is still the leader until someone able to outdo them in both areas

They're not though. The only thing mys have to brag with are those overly inflated sales record they got because of cheaper album prices. Not something to be proud of

Well, just look at the stats for 4th gen girl groups. They are amongst the top of every metric you can think of.

Top album sales, top 1 or 2 MV views, top fancam views, top 3 Spotify monthly listeners, trend every day on twitter, top 1 or 2 brand deals/endorsements and so on.

Even on Melon where they didn't do as well this past comeback, they still hit No 8 and charted 5 songs at the same time.

People downplay them because they don't like MYs.

Okay but certifications when? You guys keep boasting about this inflated album sales from China but where are the sales certifications? Don't think we forgot. Blackpink at least has the certifications to show for their sales.

why can't your fave outsell them then if they just needed cheaper prices? or are they not successful enough to afford that
