i remember when the news got out, she escaped from the public eye and later someone said she forgave him but no one mentioned he gave her money back since he was gambling.

The company had authorized the managers to deal with Blackpink's money, so maybe the company reimbursed her. It was shortly after all this happened that she moved into her first apartment so either she had another million lying around or the company intervened.
