nope! bp have more casual listerns/general appeal why bts are just pushed by fandom look at how hard they've been flopping since bb rule change compared to before the change

This is the BIGGEST reason(my realization) why Blackpink can never be on the same level as BTS. They always go for songs that are really easy to like, their songs are akin to candies/chocolates/ice creams to children whose musical tastes are immature, their songs are the same, always talking about the same lyrics and they don't care, as long as it gets the views it's fine. BTS's English songs are the same, they achieved success and huge charting, but that's not why people like them or why they are the biggest group in the world. They said it themselves, they don't want to make music without substance, they no longer want to play for charts. They went back to what made them unique in the first place. I feel like only Blinks are the people who don't realize what YG is doing, other idols would probably think they're pretty shameless going for this route, same teddy formula again and again. Best cash cow afterall.
