Here's my opinion on Pink Venom that absolutely no one asked for,
It's just ok. It's definitely what I would expect from a Blackpink release. There are some parts that I really like about it. The strings and blackpink chanting at the beginning were great, liked the cult-ish vibes. And I wish they kept those strings through the rest of the song. The chorus is definitely different, and at first, I was pleasantly surprised. But after a few listens I can't tell if I like it or not. I like anti-drops I lot, but I wish there was a little more 'oomph' in the second half of the chorus to make it feel fuller. The girls looked great, and the mv looked great, that was a given. Overall, The song is a little underwhelming, but Teddy left creativity at the door back in 2018 so that's not surprising. Still, I like it. Not the best Blackpink song and I don't see myself coming back to it often, but I do like it.
