Should they have debuted jungkook as a solo first?

  • As any other companies be it jyp with nayeon and yg with jennie should hybe have debuted jungkook first as he is the centre and main vocalist? did they lose the hype by debuting the least popular member first?

  • Yeah he aint my bias but I think he should've debuted first to build the solo hype but that the same time I think it'd have being unfair to hoseok because he had his album ready.

  • They lost hype by not promoting jhope properly and not giving him physical copies like any other music artist in the world. They would've messed up Jungkook's debut too if he went first. The only reason Left & Right is doing as well as it is because of Charlie Puth's management

  • i think A LOT was influenced by the lack of physical album imo

not only is it motivating to see big numbers for the sales (hobi did ~500k so still good, but he could have done insane numbers), it would have helped him chart & motivate army. JHope had A LOT of people curious, fans & non fans, so i think a lot of the hype had to do with the way the roll out was handled & less who came first.

also, no way in HELL would jk solos have accepted that "weverse/digital only album" bs hybe did with jhope & it wouldn't have worked after another member did get a physical album. besides jhope already having finished his album, hybe wanted to use bts' offical solos as some cheap experiment for their weverse app & that would have only worked with a less popular member.

  • nah.

he had always looked better standing next to the rap line
