BTS is getting worse

    Approved the thread.
  • Jhope's solo was really mismanaged, Hybe fucked up his sales and armys didn't stream and now everyone assumes they don't have individual power. If I were Hybe I'd debut V or jungkook next with a full fledge promo and collabs. It'll change the perception of shareholders regarding their solo value and they'd stop whining about ot7 comeback as well.

  • whatever direction they r heading gl to them
a member need to come through if they want to stay relevant

We keep saying this. But just a thought. What if SOME members really don't want to be relevant anymore and just want to have a lowkey life away from fame & pressure? From the way I've seen, most of them are not even active on socials or trying to promote their stuff anyway. The VL did not even post anything about bad decisions except when Jimin relied to a Benny Blanco video, and even then I feel like it was mostly prompted by hybe lol.

Idk, maybe something will change once they take turns in releasing their solo. For now, it's only Hobi tho, and besides charting he proved to everyone that he can demand a crowd.

maybe you got a point but they decided to pursue individual activities
i doubt anything will change when they take turns in releasing their solo :/

I actually kinda agree with this.

It's fine if they don't feel like promoting anymore and no longer want to be relevant, but why collab with other people then? Those people might still care if the song is a success or not.

  • benny blanco want that number 1

he's been promoting bad decisions but in a off-putting way

it's not gonna reach 1 because that song is sugar 2.0, nothing new, people already heard that millions of times lol

  • They peaked in 2016. Can’t believe some people still think V or Jungkook is relevant. @ me when those 2 debut and still flopping

  • well it's been this way since 2018

  • benny blanco want that number 1

That song wouldn't get number 1 even with BTS promoting, but still...

Reminds me of people who want to team up for a project but once it's time to present it, they're nowhere to be seen.

  • Jhope not pulling the same numbers as BTS is given. He is in lower popularity rank in the group, however I'm pretty sure if he had physicals he would've sold around 2M.

He actually charted really good, no longevity because the songs just don't have that it thing.

JK is the one to watch for, his collab pulled 6M, and he is the BTS face so I'm pretty sure he will match if not surpass BTS numbers.

V is also one to watch for if he comes out with something hyper-ish, and not the jazzy stuff. Although that seems unlikely cause he seems to be going to that direction.

Overall I really think JK, V, JIMIN and Suga will surpass JHOPE numbers easily. RM might match and have better longtivity. Jin is a wild card since he has a larger fanbase than Jhope and RM but idk if that will translate to streams yet.

  • maybe you got a point but they decided to pursue individual activities

decided to pursue individual activities means they dont want people and companies in their asses 24/7 asking for things

they're already secured for life, now they're able to find what they like or what they wanted in their own pace without having to worry into that translating in the whole group image, schedule or goals

bts announced hiatus out of burnout from all sides, company and public (both fans and non fans)

  • 2 million? Are u insane? Armys are saving up for their biases and I'm pretty sure jhope ain't even in the top 4 in their list. I'd say 800k the most.

  • Let’s not lie pls. Jhope wouldn’t even sell a million. His views are completely tanking and streams are non existent

Because it was what expected of them and they want BTS as a group to last longer & this is the way to do it. These two things can co exists. Like Jimin said in Festa that he's a bts member implying that he don't see himself as a solo. The guys move like a unit and they love BTS as a grouo and clearly treasure. Also, are still under a contract with HYBE. Some members might be different like Hoseok but Idk of of them are giving this energy.
