they mean 'fans who like 1 or more groups of that company'

NOT 'people who love the company and its CEO on top of stanning their bias group'

we call them loyal customers, returning customers, cash cows, dollar signs in my eyes, uhhh easy money; exhibit A; BLINKS, pay for my children's college, pay for my wife's cookie's operation (this means baking in the kitchen, for her classes, smh)

there's plenty of ways to call them, just pick one

there are really a lot of sm stans here though. i see a lot of worshiping how revolutionary sm makes their faves music unique

the definition is different for everyone.

I disagree. company stans believe there is something inherent about the company that makes their groups better/unique. they stan certain producers/choreographers in the company (know them by name), they enjoy company projects (like sm winter album or hybe nye concert), they look forward to inter-group collabs (tiktok challenges etc). liking 2 groups from the same company isn't enough of a definition imo.
