The days when you can sell millionS of physical versions of albums are long gone. Sales have been declining since 2000s.
Adele is the only exception. Now streaming is added to pure sales in order to chart on Billboard.
K-pop uses pc/photobooks/digipacks in order to gain numbers. I don't know if western artists do that, but I read some add ticket sales? or something and Beyonce apparently added photobook to her latest cd.
Realistically, what group can sell 1 million or at least 500k with just 1 version without discounts/digipacks/pc or any known tricks?
I just realized I personally never seen posts/tweets about the amount of albums sold digitally (that is not streaming)
