are bts idols? is j hope an idol?

Why am i asking this? because J Hope just invited 1 idol Taeyang from Bb and his fellow Bts mates. I saw people saying that he invited those musicians to get better feedback from them and didn't invite idols because their feedback wouldn't be as useful. So does he look down on other idols even though he himself is an idol and for some weird reason invited Taeyang who is also an idol!

Yeah yeah i know they've a song called Idol but still.. they may not have written it themselves.

If he looks down on other idols, that is hypocritical. He made his debut as one and he owes his success to that.

Idols are artists too. Many of them are more talented than so called artists.
