the Nazi Hakenkrus isn't a big deal in SEA counties but their "version" of it is, the rising sun symbol
so it's more a case of ignorance not morals.
And context.. other people's villains can't be everybody's villains.
Rising has little relevance in the West as well.

Churchill is hero to the West, but ask Indians or others. even if they are aware, from their perspective he would be as evil as Hitler.
It is interesting how these play out in a connected world. Koreans might not even care. Whereas something dubious like bullying is a big deal in S.Korea, because their context/experiences are different.
West might be shocked at these costumes/themes, but look at actual cases of teen pregnancy or even p***, Korean stats would far low for the proportion of population.
But whatever be the result, it is good to have these debates in the open.
