in general, kpop is about selling idols, as in literal idols, like people out of your fantasy you idolize

that said, there is also a lot of good music so you could just enjoy that and ignore the rest

it slowly is not becoming about music.

uhh... it depends whats on your list for kpop music? if youre talking about idol music then it was always about selling the idols themselves, fantasize, buy X to have chance to meet Y. its a market. sex sells. its simple.

if you branch out to other music that arent idol, you'll find plenty of great artists and songs, and yes it still considered 'kpop'. youre only expose to whatever your vision lays on honestly. if you intentionally only look at blue then the rest of your live you will only see blue. make sense?
