HYBE have won the race of new girl groups from JYPE in 2022, will JYPE be able to catch up?

It's pretty amazing to see several new Big 4 groups debut in a short time, especially since girl group debuts are scarcer than boy groups.

We have Le Sserafim and Newjeans and NMIXX, and will we see the new YG girl group this year too?

But so far, it doesnt look an even fight at all, looks like HYBE have won this round: NMIXX' debut was a disaster, their hype dead in the water. Le Sserafim and Newjeans as a contrast are having huge buzz and a strong start now that LSF have left their former problems behind them (Garam).

JYP may be known for girl groups as their strength, but HYBE outpace them like before they did with BTS vs the YG and SM boy groups.

nmixx just needs good songs, they literally have everything and arguably the most well rounded and talented 4th gen gg

Let's also not forget IVE just because they aren't a Big 4 group.
