he was the first official bts solo, so the whole world & many armys were very curious and ready to buy. Not even mentioning that Jhope had a lot of non fans interested too. this was one of the stupidest moves for an official solo... not only is it fun to have a physical album (hobi would have made something amazing i'm sure), it also helps so much with visibility/keeping the album in the spotlights.
