SM always underestimates Red Velvet. Why?

  • I'm pretty mad at this thread

Being a pinkblood sm stan is hard

    About what exactly?

Their recent tracks did just ok and their sales increased but then again so did everyone else's so it's not like just RV for mega popular, kpop as a whole got popular.

Now Aespa is the main gg and it looks like there's not much point to treating RV the same as once before when they were the only gg in SM.

As for restocking that's an SM wide problem. NCT and Exo had stock problems too.

RV's Feel My Rhythm did pretty good, not just ok. It would've been #1 if Idle's Tomboy and that other artists hadn't been around at the same time.

SM have more girl groups even before Aespa, SNSD are very active and have a comeback next month. Running multiple boy groups or girl groups at the same time has never been a problem for SM or any of the Big 4 companies (except maybe YG).

Structural stock problems is an SM problem, with all their groups, true.

I mean bp has hits of completely different styles. Pwf hylt lsg aiiyl are all different

Twice is the only one who needed one style to stay relevant

It's still all Teddy, and Teddy is Teddy: one of the very, very few consistent top megahit producers of the past decade.

  • I thought RV was like f(x), as in for the hipster demographic but with a different sound.
