Girl groups tend to score more hits yet somehow still can't compete with sales level of boys, with exception like Aespa or Blackpink (and Blackpink sales are still lower than NCT, Seventeen). We have more than 10 boy groups who are million sellers while girl groups only have 2. Why do you think it's hard for girls to sell as well as boys with some exception?

Kpop fans is majority females and they are just more dedicated / crazy over supporting their Oppa. For example just look at the biggest GG globally blackpink compared to many to these BGs. Bar Bts Blackpink has way way bigger social media following than these BG's and yet even with sparse album release with alot of hype clear 1.6 m? meanwhile these BGS with far less following clearing it and more every album release yearly. I don't follow Bg sales anymore but I remember way back 4 plus years ago of a story of a girl fan spending over 20k just to get into a fansign(this number probably even greater nowadays) or the stories of fangirls sending their entire annual income on their BG. Literally all groups have fans bulk buying but BG fangirls are just crazier.

Because most KPop fans are girls, and many more of them follow boy groups because it's their preference to look at attractive men. And because most of them think they are in love with at least their main bias, they will spend way too much of their time and money trying to prove it. Fewer girl group stans are in a hormonal chokehold over their faves.

The majority of kpop fans are female, hence why bgs sell more. It’s simple as that lol
Lol. This indeed.

Girls love boys more than they love girls. That's all.
