Aespa charting in top 10/20 a day after their release is considered a flop?

People really hate aespa lol groups didn’t rise until at least a week later and they’re already in top 10 on melon daily

No people were expecting high international numbers cause of the all things they had in the west

That's why I say is not a flop, just not digimon level since they shoot up to the top easily despite friday release

this change nothing, because every song who arent zombie stream songs (Lim Young Woung) decrease in uls
and Aespa still behind a lot of them

ofc they can reach even the #1 after the promotion, but for sure they arent big as everyone thought

They’re still doing better than every group in 4th gen that took at least a week to get into top 10 on melon daily, aespa did that in their first day

By the way Mys have been speaking of them being the next top gg in SK and they are one of the gp's favourite you would expect them to top the charts inmediately despite the time release. And let's not forget that SK already had get used to friday releases since most of the top groups are doing it too, so not friday release is not an excuse

Honestly only anon is calling it flip even Twitter is just focusing on their int charting

It's their international stats that are making people call them a flop. Not bad but not the standard you'd expect from a group mys were boasting was ahead of everyone else. Apart from their sales they are either matched or eclipsed in the rest of the categories.

they're doing fine tbh but i think people are expecting them to top charts immediately everywhere because the way mys have been hyping them up and calling them the next nation's girl group/next global girl group and saying it'll be aeskarma that they demolish everyone else but it didn't happen that way

the song is going to continue to sink both on kcharts and internationally. poor mys are setting themselves up saying "just wait another week"
