I‘m asking about Melon in this case because I know Mama does whatever the fuck it wants and I don’t know shit about other award shows.
In order to win the artist of the year daesang, your total digital points have to be the highest of that year, right?
And now I’m wondering if streams from older songs are counted towards that.
For example, would Melon count the digital points that Spring Day (releases in 2017) gathered count towards that Daesang or only songs that were released in a particular time slot?
I’d be really grateful if someone could answer my question!
