"the peggies" announce indefinite hiatus starting this September

"the peggies" met each other back in 2009 while in high school and they have been together since then, they released their major debut in 2017

the members wanted to make clear that this isn't due to a fight between them or anything like that, they simply decided they wanted to go different ways, all members stated they are irreplaceable friends to each other and that their bond is going to continue even if they aren't part of "the peggies" anymore

part of the statement:

"At the end of last year, the members asked to take some time off to reflect on their feelings about music, and after long discussions with the staff, we have decided to take a break from our activities as the peggies. We sincerely apologize to our fans who have always supported us and to everyone concerned for this sudden announcement."

"The three of us came to this decision after many discussions. First of all, let me say this. It is not because we have a falling out or anything like that. We are still irreplaceable friends and companions," and "Because we are irreplaceable to each other, as the three of us were discussing it, we decided that if there was even a chance that one of us would not be healthy, we should take a break here."

they are going to separate after their tour ends in September, just recently they did the opening theme for the anime "In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki"

i was going to make a summary of the statement but it was a little too long (plus they posted a picture instead of text)

but in the statement they left open the possibility of going back together one day in the future, no promises of anything but is something, for now they are going to concentrate in their individual projects

lately many girl bands have been disbanding , that's sad although at least we have gotten many new bands too
