why do people praise good “live” vocals when the performance is not even live?

    Better question: why do people care about lipsyncing only when some groups do it, and completely ignore it when other groups or their own biases do it?


    Or why do people ignore it when groups they dislike or have a grudge against sing live, with or without backtrack, and only 'remember' that group's lipsynced performances? Is it amnesia? Is it self-medicated brainwashing?
