dives overexaggerate ives popularity

    yes, love dive has been doing well but ive as a group is still not as popular as dives think they are. when you look at all their youtube content, like their show or behind the scene videos, most fail to reach 900k whereas other groups are surpassing 1m despite constantly releasing stuff like that. not to mention, their views on stages is pretty low too. also, most ppl cant name all the members of ive. ppl always say that ive is dominating intl charts but i barely see ppl talk about ive outside of akp (theres a lot of wonyoung tho) and i have yet to hear their songs playing anywhere.


    granted, theyre only like a 6 month old group so maybe theyll grow in the future but rn, theyre really not as popular as ppl pretend they are.

    their spotify streams speak for themselves and i hear love dive all the time anywhere that plays kpop/asian music


    they also release a LOT of youtube content and their views are pretty good for how much content they release across their own channels and 1thek

    Give them some time to grow. Y’all are literally comparing them to established big 3 groups, most of which weren’t even as successful as IVE during their debut. Plus, many fans came from IZ*ONE and most of those are not internationals, so of course IVE will have to make itself known for internationals before they can be compared

    Ive is Wonyoung and Yujin. That's it. Nobody knows the others outside their fans and some of the general Kpop fanbase. Without Wonyoung especially and Yujin, they selling 20k and not sniffing Top 100 on Melon, they'd literally be just another rando GG.

    Rei started a trend

    Wonyoung doubled her ig followers (+2 million)

    Both Rei and Gaeul (which is considered the least popular) had 100k likes on twitter

    Not to mention Liz that was always the 3rd most popular and Yujin obviously.


    I won't even talk on how they doubled their number sales with SINGLE albums already did 1M total half a year since debut, or how they are the most stable gg on charts both national and internationally like lol

    Not a dive but don’t dives only say that ive’s songs are popular on streaming platforms? Cmiiw they never said that all the members are popular aside from Wonyoung and Yujin & Leeseo to a certain extent since she went viral. So don’t think they are over exaggerating ive’s popularity.

    No real Dive is overexaggerating. We know it's mostly the Wonyoung and Yujin effect. It's antis and trolls setting the girls up.

    I was thinking the same. 3rd gen stans especially of the top fandoms are really going into full denial mode and attacking the newer gen groups and basically anyone pointing out their groups' decline and 4th gen groups rising dominance recently.
