Why darari didn't go that viral ?

    I mean the song itself. The sound on TikTok is viral but the song isn't pulling the same numbers as TikTok song should be. Why is that? I think it might be because it's not English and people expected something different when they tried to listen.

    I personally think it's a very cute song, I'm also surprised Koreans didn't give it a chance it's totally their genre

    It not being in English shouldn't hinder it that much. There's plenty of non English songs that go viral and manage to pull in streams.


    I think it suffers from being a sound that's popular for making tiktok videos but not necessarily popular for people to want to stream it if that makes sense.


    There are a lot of TikTok sounds I can think of that are known by everyone who's been on TikTok at least once but when I search them up on streaming platforms they have like 15m views and 30m streams.


    An example is such a wh*re by jvla. I think everyone knows that song or has heard the beat at least. But looking at YouTube and spotify it doesn't do as well as a song that wellknown should do.


    Another thing that is maybe just a personal opinion is that darari suffers from having a great catchy chorus while the rest of the song is pretty bland and forgettable. That might not impress some people who won't go back for a second listen.

    Though I just checked and the actual song numbers are quite impressive though? On youtube the official audio has 50M, spotify 85M, the dance practice & performance video also have over 20M views.


    Is it as viral as Money for example? Not even close. However it has done quite well for 4th gen bg standard.

    Darari blew up after teumes made edits of enhypen as a joke. It was just some silly attempt to piss off engenes BUT accidentally, it ended up working out. When enhypen's Polaroid love hype died down, so did darari's

    I don't think it went viral in Treasure's home countries.
