BTS popularised noise music?

  • They were so ahead of their time when they released Fire and not today. Not today had to face a lot of criticism for its "noise" even though its nothing compare to what 4th gen releases now.

It's funny how in past they got hate for releasing "noise" and now they're getting hate for not releasing noise.

Did it really? (This is a genuine question.)

As for an answer: no. Music that is loud, EDM-based, features a drop, or however you want to define that dumb term "noise" were neither invented nor popularized by BTS. It has been in kpop for a long time.

now they're getting hate for not releasing noise.

You know very well that's not the reason.

Yeah it wasn't a favorite single when it was released. Everyone said its noisy not only NT but in general they used to be crticized by kpop fans for releasing "noisy music".

Yet to come is a good song, everyone's hating it cus it's released by bts.

A lot of people who don't like it are armys themselves who love bts with their entire being.

  • Noise music existed in Kpop before BTS and even among current groups, other groups did it first. The Seventh Sense came out before Fire and Fire Truck before Not Today. “It sounds like a NCT song” is literally the way noise music songs are described, so if anyone paved the way on noise music, it’s them.
