What's the purpose of having visuals in the group?

Because in every group there's some other members who blows up for their beauty instead of actual visual.

visuals usually attract the korean gp to the group but in some cases a non visual becomes more popular than the visual even among koreans

So that the visuals who don't have other positions have a position in the group.

I can name many of them recent examples are Tsuki and kazuha.

A way for companies to justify mistreatment towards other members lol. Same with the center position.

They're intended as initial stan attractors.

Sometimes they're also made the 'face of the group' as a result of their visuals role.

Center position makes no sense either. Why always pushing the same member. I hate these positions in general in kpop. Let them do whatever they want, instead of sticking to the same department.

in the entertainment industry, sex sells. meaning if they are visually appealing, it sells. that's why its a running joke in k-industry when a person appear, and they don't look very 'attractive' people assumed they will be able to sing very well. Because if they don't, then they're pretty much fked.

also, if theyre attractive and not hurting anyone, i can't think of anything negative regarding that.
