As someone who doesn't care about YT views, I think the song itself or the video is not meant to break shattering records. It's not meant to be a dynamite or butter song, is what I'm saying.
BH and the guys don't even promote this cb as a proper album. And bts fan and the majority of their listeners are listening on Spotify or their own audio streaming platforms. As they should. I never get Kpop's obsession with YT views when the whole world stream on demand now.

Butter did 110m views because the mv is fun and has choreography while ytc is more of a nostalgic tt. Armys nowadays seems to prefer streaming in spotify than on youtube.
Unlike in 2020 - 2021, we are still in a pandemic but everyone now is going back to their normal routine. People are now in reporting physically to school and work.
