Berlin. A guy drives 150 meter into group of people. Some of them are even a school from the German staate Hessen. One female teacher even dies. Under the partly even heavy injured people is even a pregnant woman who broke a hip. Immediatle after the crime act the alleged perpetrator, a 29 year old German-Armenian living in Berlin was catched by the police. He is allready known by the police cause of property crimes.
The police found informations in the guys car, stated by the responsible interior senator. Posters with realation to Turkey where found and it's not clear where to put them. It's not clear if it could be a political act. "No accident, a gunman, a brutal killer", so said by the investigator.

Acording to the rest of the video in the source the crime took place on the "Breitscheidplatz" in Berlin. You can see a silver painted car, a Renault Clio, that crashed into a store's display window. Many paramedic are about to take care of all the injured people in front of the "Gedächtniskirche" ( memory church). It's unclear why the crime happend. It was a bit after 10am as the crime too place
A whitness says he saw how the car drove over the side walk, than back on the street, than back onto the side walk and than drove right into a passerby in front of his eyes. The car apparently switched from street to side walk a few more times and than took speed into a group of people.
Everywhere where the alleged perpetrator drove were injured people on the ground.
Acording to a police officer called Thilo Cabiltz "The driver could be detained by some passerby and shortly after was arrested by the police. He is curently questioned about the crime. We are now investigating if it was an intent crime or just an accident. We are now trying to put everything together. "
As he was arrested he beged for help. A passerby than answered: "Help? You almost killed 2 people you idiot!"
He was later on sended to the magistrate. The investigations about the crime are still going on.
Was it an accidant? A medical issue? Or a planed crime? Many heavy armed police officer are backing up the surounding area. At around 1pm the police publishes informations to the alleged perpetrator.
