They have either bad or weird intro. It’s a total turn off for someone who isnt familiar with the singer.
Sticker starts off with Taeyong auto-tuned voice in an out-of-tune beat (sentence doesn’t make sense but you will understand if you heard it).
Taeyong is actually to my surprise is good idol rapper and phenomenal dancer but that intro was so bad.
aespa’s illusion is a nice bside and all but the play with childish lines like tummy tummy in the intro might turn off new people. Dont you know I am Savage? also rings a bell (I find it a fun line but if the audience is not convinced with most kpop groups it will definitely rule the song out after listening to the first line).
I feel like SM dont realize the importance of the first few seconds that make up the final impression. Thats why many of their songs get better after multiple listens.
