RE this comment about blackpink

  • When a group releases one album every two years, it's really easy for fans to focus on that album and make it the top everywhere. When a group is releasing at least two albums every year (plus other releases), fans have to split their time between more music meaning their numbers won't be so high.

Why are they ignoring the massive difference in unique listeners though. Lol. It’s not like as if everyone has the same ULs as them and BP is getting higher streams because of fans continuously streaming them lol.

Even at debut blackpink was bigger internationally than every single kpop gg for that time. No two ways about it.

If BP had more releases maybe some of them would have flopped we don’t know that. But we can’t say more releases would have made their existing releases be less popular.

Even if other GGs released only one song every few years like BP did, they’re not gonna have a hit like BP. If other GGs had huge numbers and ULs like BP for at least a couple of their releases and then low for others we can argue others have less numbers because they release more content.

But y’all delulu af if you think any GG currently can ever get BP’s streaming numbers if they just changed their release pattern.

  • Even if they hadn't comeback for almost two years, their listeners on Spotify are still higher and much higher than active GG's, 13+ million.

so what's this conversation for. People just like to discredit them, but when they comeback they just shut their mouths

  • Some people legit believe that blackpink has more streams because of lesser songs. Blinks play them in loop 😂

Other gg song streams getting distributed because of bigger discographies. They don't realize bp is just way bigger.
