Both really had a glow up after military enlistment

I wonder about the impression they left on career military men and their fellow enlisted countrymen. Must've been good, since they have had better opportunities and more popularity. Since most of their countrymen have to serve, that's a lot of new fans outside of the typical idol fan circle.
