Moral Dilemma What to do?

  • I have subscribed to Crunchyroll’s premium plan 14 days for free and I was planning to pay for the month after it ends because I liked it but the free plan didnt stop even after 14 days so I was waiting till they give me a notice and I had the money ready but then the month ended then another month passed and I spent the money. Now I have got an email saying there was a problem asking for money but I can’t spend my money this month because I need it. Yet the site still work fine and I am still a premium member. I feel like I am stealing even though it’s a bug. But also I really want the money because I am collecting for something I want to buy.

  • Just keep using it until you can't. It's their fault for not having a system in place that works properly. Also, you aren't technically stealing as you aren't depriving them of the asset.

It's like watching a movie from outside a cinema with a big-ass hole in the wall that they refuse to fix.

It's pretty much a victimless crime. It's not like you're taking money from some homeless dude who can't then have dinner.

If you feel that bad about it, pay it forward and help someone that really needs it.

Or just pay them and feel good about yourself if it's really eating you.

  • the people who actually worked the most on the animes are unlikely to see anything of that money
