Aespa. You have to take in context when talking about these things. Twice underperformed compared to their lofty standards, and only their incredibly successful touring saved the year for them. Whilst Aespa on the other hand just had insane success especially compared to how their debut did (which did okay).
Y'all mentioning lisa and rose like be serious lmaoo even af outdid otg on bb charts and did similar to it on korean charts. otg had a stronger start but it only has over 300m digital index same as af. Its only saving grace was that hot100 debut.
Lalisa flopped even more than scientist in korea and japan and worse than the the feels internationally. money again was her saving grace.
Twice did okay in korea with AF, smashed in japan with tf, second longest charting gg song on bb global and excl. us 200, hot 100 and uk singles debut, best selling album and what not and you think they were not the no.1 GG in 2021? Lmao, Aespa had NL but thats it. Savage is a hit but its no TT. Paks dont matter or y'all agree Tomboy > NL?

Spotify: 208m otg, 204m tf. for songs released months apart, there is hardly any diff lol.
