I don't know the person concerned, but if an idol is old enough to break the law, they are not too young to suffer the consequences and never any excuses for drink driving. Of course they need to be held accountable.

everybody is responsible for the consequences of their actions regardless of age

maybe you're young and decide to push your mate into the pool "for funsies" but they trip and hit their head - you're still responsible for the consequences not withstanding that you didn't intend on the outcome
