Karma will hit those haters if treasure hits 1 million sales next comeback

  • the fact that even as a big 4 group and all that versions they didn't hit 1m sales in the year 2022 is embarrassing af. They should be aiming for 2m but I guess 1m is the goalpost for now.

  • No one would care if they do, everyone and their mums selling bunch of albums now. It's streaming what sets the actual relevant groups apart

  • so? they'll hit 1 million while their competitors will be hitting 2 million by then

    nowadays even girl groups can touch those numbers.

    treasure's recent comeback sold 750k

    i've -> soon 600k

    aespa -> 600k

    red velvet -> 600k

  • they would still got outsold by BP, their seniors

    Yeah because other YG groups have all sold over 1M before.. No wait, it was only BP.

    I'm sure YG is more than satisfied at Treasure's physical numbers when comparing to their senior boygroups that usually sold like 100k.

    Treasure's streaming is good though, their yt & spotify numbers this era have increased so much.

    Is that supposed to be a drag? BP is literally the 2nd biggest kpop group ever.

  • Treasure sold 800k last comeback, they did amazing.

    If they don't hit 1m who cares, only antis who have nothing else to complain about treasure if not album sales. When taking in consideration yg groups only pb sells more, but they're the biggest gg in the world.

    So if treasure hits 1M sales I'll be happy as a teume, but that doesn't mean if they don't they'll be less successful or talented as theyre now.

    Op stop setting treasure up btw, you're for sure not a teume.

  • Exactly, the sell like girl groups with 100000000000 versions. Even if they hit 1M, it won't be impressive.

  • I have a couple of things to comment on.

    1- The idea that karma will hit the haters is just dumb, the reality is, regardless of whether a group you hate or love does well, it literally does nothing for you. I know you think it does, and it makes you feel good or bad, but the reality is, it has no effect, why don't kpop fans get that?

    2- Why is it the big 4? Hybe is bigger then YG, JYP, and SM combined, so I don't get why they are lumped together, it would be like me trying to put together Coca Cola with the 3 kids who are selling lemonade on my block.

  • Nobody would care tbh. Nowadays girl groups sell as much as treasure. Also, with the top 4th gen bgs already having hit more than 1M sales, they'll be selling 2M when treasure sells 1.

    Also, if they get those same 10+ versions, everyone would make fun of them because a million selling album with so many versions isn't something to brag about

  • When they hit 1M, the top 3 4th gen bgs will be reaching or close to reach 2M. So treasure's position will stay pretty much the same. No one will care

    Imagine instead of targeting rival groups from other big companies, teumes are measuring up against physical flops like ikon winner.

    Reading comprehension is important. Anon was talking about "big4" privilege as if that helped Treasure to sell what they did. If that was the case then every YG group should have sold decently but that's clearly not the case. YG doesn't have stans that buy albums like the other big companies, one look can tell you that much.

    BTW it's time to exclude YG from this big4 talk, their only big group is BP and who knows if BP will still even be active by this time next year.

  • people mentioning other 4th gen boy groups when they also took years to get to 1 mil 💀. you guys keep on bringing gg's like bro they outsell and outdo every 4th gen boy group

    Treasure debuted in 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, when the physical sales exploded. The standard for Treasure is Enhypen, that debuted around the same time and reached 1m in less than one year. The groups we should compare them with are the ones that had the privilege to debut in this era of physical sales.

    And girlgroups don't ousell every 4th gen boygroup. The outdo is questionable, depending on the metric.
