Daesung (대성; known as D-LITE in Japan) is a South Korean singer under YG Entertainment. He is a member of the boy group BIGBANG.
He made his solo debut on June 16, 2008 with the single "Look At Me, Gwisun".

Military service
He enlisted for his military service on March 13, 2018 and, along with fellow groupmate Taeyang, he was discharged on November 9, 2019.
