Introduction:
P NATION (피네이션) is South Korean record label and entertainment agency. It was founded on October 29, 2018 by singer and producer PSY. It is home to artists like PSY, Jessi, Hyuna, Dawn, Crush, Heize, Penomeco, and Swings. A new boy group called TNX formed on the survival show Loud is set to debut within the company on May 17th, 2022.
Foundation:
On May 14, 2018, it was reported that PSY, the man behind the song Gangnam Style, would be leaving his agency, YG Entertainment, in order to start his own. On January 23, 2019, it was announced via Instagram that the label would be known as P NATION. On the following day, the first signed artist was revealed to be soloist Jessi. Two days later, it was announced that partners and former Triple H members, HyunA and E'Dawn, were also signed on the agency. These artists would go on to release music within the label. Later on, soloists Heize and Penomeco would join the agency.
First group:
On September 11, 2021, the survival show Loud with trainees Woo Kyungjoon, Choi Taehun, Jang Hyunsoo, Eun Hwi, Cheon Junhyeok, Oh Sungjun and Tanaka Koki were confirmed as part of the agency's future and first boygroup. However, on January 24, 2022, it was announced that Tanaka Koki would no longer debut as part of the group, but would continue as a trainee under P NATION. On March 29, 2022, it was announced the group would be officially called TNX which stands for The New Six, and that they will debut on May 17, 2022.
