Lee Eun Sang is a soloist and member of the boy group YOUNITE under Brand New Music. He was also a former member of the boy group X1.
II. Career
In 2019, Eunsang was in Mnet's survival show Produce X 101 representing Brand New Music. On the finale, he was placed in the 'X' position, which made him part of the lineup for the project group X1. He debuted with the group on August 27, 2019 with the release of their mini album Bisang : Quantum Leap. However, due to controversies with Mnet manipulating the voting for Produce X 101, the group ultimately disbanded on January 6, 2020.
On August 13, 2020, Brand New Music revealed that Lee Eun Sang would make his solo debut on August 31 with his single album Beautiful Scar.
Lee Eun Sang made a comeback on August 16, 2021 with the release of his second single album Beautiful Sunshine.
On September 24, it was announced that he would make his acting debut on the JTBC drama Idol: The Coup. The drama aired from November 8 to December 14.
On June 10, 2021, Brand New Music confirmed that they were planning to debut a new boy group in the first half of 2022, and that Lee Eun Sang would be part of the group's lineup.
On December 31, an epilogue short video for his comeback Beautiful Sunshine showed Lee Eun Sang running to join a group of boys. Signaling that he would soon debut in the upcoming boy group.
On January 6, 2022, a cover of Audrey Nuna's damn Right featuring Lee Eun Sang and other Brand New Music trainees was uploaded to Brand New Music's official YouTube channel. These trainees will likely be the new boy group that they will debut in 2022.
Eunsang was officially announced as a member of the boy group YOUNITE on February 15, 2022. He will debut with the group on April 20 with the release of their mini album "Youni-Birth".
