I. Introduction
Show Champion is a South Korean music television program broadcast live by MBC M every Wednesday at Bitmaru Broadcasting Center in Ilsan.
It has 405 episodes (still ongoing) and it is hosted by Moon Bin, Yoon San-ha and Kangmin.
II. Segment
In 2013, the show's producers decided that the weekly music show would switch from pre-recorded format to a live show format. New changes to the show started with the episode on January 30, 2013.
Since 2015 it also has a Triple Crown system used in Inkigayo and The Show where the song is not eligible for top 3 anymore after winning three times.
Start from July 14, 2021; Show Champion reveal the scores like every other show in their website, instead of just announce winners. The tracking time is also revealed, it's from Monday to Sunday (9 days prior to 3 days prior). Pre-voting is from Thursday to Sunday (6 days prior to 3 days prior).

IV. Chart Point System
Prior 2013, the program selected the top 10 of the week and the chart winner by combining the following:
- 45% digital sales (Melon)
- 10% physical sales (Hanteo)
- 15% ranking from netizens
- 15% ranking from professionals in the music industry
- 15% points on MBC Music broadcast
The song at the top of chart earned the title “Champion Song”. On the other hand, the star with the hottest issue was named as “Issue Champion”, while the best rookie was called “Rookie Champion”. The feature “Rookie Survival” gained particular attention because the audience was able to give scores during the live broadcast.
On September 4, 2012, the program was reorganized and the chart ranking system was abolished.
In 2013, the show underwent another reorganization, which resulted in the resurrection of the "Champion Song" ranking system with new criteria starting from January 30.

- 20% physical sales (Hanteo)
- 15% ranking from professionals and expert judges (MBC Music)
In 2017, the show underwent another change of chart point system, with the new criteria below.

- 10% Album

- 15% Ranking from expert and professional judges
- 15% Broadcast
From 2018 until 2020, the criteria for the chart point system was as below:
- 30% Digital
- 20% Idol Champ Pre-voting
- 20% Genie Pre-voting
- 10% MBC Music Broadcast
- 10% Critics' Choice
- 10% Album Sales
From 2020 to July 7, 2021 the criteria for the chart point system was as below:
- 50% Digital and Album
- 20% Idol Champ Pre-voting
- 20% MBC Music Broadcast
- 10% SNS
From July 14, 2021 the criteria for the chart point system is as below:
- 35% Digital
- 15% Album
- 20% Idol Champ Pre-voting
- 20% MBC Music Broadcast
- 10% SNS
Every songs, as long as in the week's pre-vote list and not get triple crown yet, is eligible for this chart. Though Show Champion is a cable music show, there's no requirement that artist have to attend or promote. The time limit in pre-vote list is unknown.
