The Best of Times

I. Introduction

The Best of Times follows the story of three young people, Li Yan Feng, Lin Zhen Yi, and Tan Jin Zhou, who work together to develop new high-speed railway technologies. They dream of pushing China’s high-speed railways to a new level, and also find love in the process of serving the country.

II. Synopsis

A failed bidding for a project lets locomotive designer Lin Zhen Yi experience a sense of failure. Her position as the project leader was replaced by an elite overseas returnee, Tan Qing Chuan. As Lin Zhen and Tan Jing Chuan work together, Lin Zhen Yi observes Tan Jing Chuan and his assistant Jian Ai Xing's working method and realizes the reason why she failed. Learning from her experience, she achieves success in her next project. At the same time, Lin Zhen also faces pursuit from Tan Qing Chuan, as well as her new neighbor Li Yan Feng, a research test pilot.
