I. Introduction
"Power (Remixes)" is a digital single from boy group EXO. It is the 29th single of SM Station Season 2 and was released on October 20, 2017.
II. Background & Release
SM Station is a digital music project under SM Entertainment that involves solos or duets from members in existing SM groups, as well as opportunities for singers to experiment in other genres or collaborate with artists inside and outside of SM Entertainment. The project releases a number of singles digitally each year on digital platforms, including streaming audio like Spotify.
On October 18, it was announced that four separate remixes of EXO's "Power" would be the Station release for October 20. The remixes were created by four DJs: R3Hab, a DJ and producer from the Netherlands; Dash Berlin from a Dutch electronic music group, IMLAY, a Korean DJ, and Shaun who is a member of Korean rock band KOXX, as well as a DJ and producer.
"Power" was released a month earlier as part of The War: The Power of Music repackage. The song was described as an EDM song produced by LDN Noise with lyrics about how one can become stronger through music that unites everyone into one.
