  • I. Introduction

    "Around" is a digital single from Korean DJ, songwriter and producer Hitchhiker and Taeyong, one of the main rappers and dancers in NCT 127. It is the seventh single of SM Station Season 2 and was released on May 12, 2017.


    II. Background & Release

    SM Station is a digital music project under SM Entertainment that involves solos or duets from members in existing SM groups, as well as opportunities for singers to experiment in other genres or collaborate with artists inside and outside of SM Entertainment. The project releases a number of singles digitally each year on digital platforms, including streaming audio like Spotify.


    Hitchhiker is a DJ, musician and producer signed to SM Entertainment who has worked on songs from SHINee, Red Velvet, NCT 127, WayV, NCT Dream, EXO, f(x), Super Junior and other SM acts. Additionally, he has created remixes of songs in addition to writing, arranging and producing his own songs. This was his second song for SM Station. Taeyong is the leader, center, main dancer and one of the main rappers in the boy group NCT 127. He also writes many of his own raps.
