  • I. Introduction

    LIGHTSUM is a girl group with 8 members ran by Cube Entertainment. They debuted with their single 'Vanilla' on June 10, 2021.


    II. History

    Cube Entertainment first announced the group on April 15th, 2021 by dropping their name and logo on the LIGHTSUM social media profiles. They continued to tease out the group later in the month by revealing the first two members Sangah and Juhyeon on April 19th. The day after, they revealed Chowon and Jian. On the 21st; it was Nayoung and Huiyeon, and finally on the 22nd; they announced Hina and Yujeong. April 23rd's announcement was a group profile picture.


    Cube finally announced their debut song on May 27th, which is the aforementioned 'Vanilla'. They debuted on June 10, 2021.
