I. Introduction:

VICTON (빅톤) is a six-member boy group under IST Entertainment.[Notes 1] Originally as seven, they officially debuted on November 9, 2016 with the mini album Voice To New World.
**2016:** VICTON debuted as a seven-member group with their first mini album "Voice To New World" on November 9, 2016.
**2017:** They made their first comeback on March 2 with the mini album "Ready". Throughout the year, VICTON released two more mini albums: "Identity" on August 23 and "From. VICTON" on November 9 to commemorate their first anniversary.
**2018-2019:** In May 2018, VICTON returned with the single album "Time of Sorrow". During early 2019, Seungwoo and Byungchan participated in "Produce X 101". Byungchan left the show due to health issues. Seungwoo subsequently joined X1 after placing 3rd in the finale. VICTON made a comeback on November 4, 2019, with "Nostalgia" and secured their first music show win.
**2020-2021:** Following X1's disbandment in January 2020, Seungwoo returned to VICTON, releasing the mini album "Continuous" in March. They returned in June with "Mayday" and released their first full-length album "Voice : The Future is Now" on January 11, 2021.
**2022:** VICTON returned with their third single album "Chronograph" on January 18. They released their seventh mini album "Chaos" on May 31 but faced a setback when member Chan departed the group in October due to a DUI incident. They released their eighth mini album "Choice" on November 15.
**2023:** In April, it was announced that several members would not renew their contracts with IST Entertainment, while others had contract adjustments due to impending military service commitments.
