welp this cctv footage was before the Joseon University performance scheduled on the 27th evening.

meaning the NewJeans members were getting their makeup and styling done for the Joseon University performance on the cctv footage above.

based on Hanni's claims she finished her makeup and styling for the Pusan University performance scheduled for the 28th and was sitting in the hallway waiting for others to finish their makeup and styling. And that was when the incident happened according to her claims.

Illit members was scheduled to perform on the 28th in Japan 11 am

NewJeans was scheduled to perform on the 28th evening at Pusan University

there are two possible ways they can encounter each other

1. between after NewJeans finished their Joseon University performance 27th that evening until 28th 11am. meaning they encountered each other in the night time or early morning.

2. between after Illit finished their Japan scheduled 28th 11am until NewJeans scheduled performance 28th evening. meaning they encountered each other after Illit came back from Japan in a return flight.

here is the locked timeline events

27th 3:23 pm: CCTV footage

27th evening : NewJeans Joseon University performance

one other possibility to consider is if Hanni mixed up the date and time of incident completely, it's a possibility tho.

you should take into account that they performed on the 27th evening at Joseon University, evening we are talking about here.

so if it follows your understanding of the situation then they finished the Joseon University performance that evening 27th and did the makeup and styling straight after their performance for Pusan University, without much of any time gap in between while waiting for 19+ hours to go on stage again?

music show is different due to special stage video filming and editing, that take several different performances to make up the final video we see on broadcast, that takes time, which is why they wake up early, but University performance is go up on stage when the time is up, one take kinda thing
