Babymonster are young girls with a lot of talent, but they're nowhere near their peak yet, either as a group or as individuals. So even if you think they're not good enough now, you might think differently once they get past their awkward teen phase and develop their skills even more. I have no doubt with time many of you haters will become fans. I used to be a hater of many idols who I now love. I'm not gonna convince you to be a fan, that's not my job. But I like babymonster and I like Ahyeon so I had to say something. Peace out. ✌️

They do have stage presence. People were even saying it's too much and they don't need to make Inkigayo look like Coachella... The facial expressions are still a bit awkward, but most of the members are underage girls with only a few months of experience performing, of course they're not gonna be natural on stage like older and more experienced idols. They also sing and rap live, so that's something we should keep in mind. It's easy to look pretty on stage if you only lip sync, but try to sing or rap live and dance at the same time and that's a whole other level of difficulty.

They thought Ahyeon would catapult the group to instant stardom but they did just as well when she was on her hiatus.

You can find Rora prettier, that's ok. They're all pretty in their own ways.

But there are not many all-rounders. There's thousands of idols nowadays and not all are good at everything, like Ahyeon and Sullyoon.

And you're completely missing the point. What makes idols like Ahyeon and Sullyoon special isn't them being naturally pretty or very talented. Is being both at the same time.

Ahyeon is the babymonster member with the most views and likes on her fancams, the most followers on her instagram fanpages, she has over 50M views on a song cover, and it's only been a few month since she debuted... She's doing great. And babymonster will keep rising unless YG messes up, of course. Babymonster are still rookies and don't have the power to save a whole company from bankruptcy.

Ahyeon is still a teen and she’s already good at singing, rapping and dancing. She’s what kpop fans call an all-rounder. Not many female idols are all-rounders, especially Wonyoung who literally only has visuals.

Which leads me to this point: Ahyeon’s visuals are good not just because she’s cute, but because she’s natural. Which is super rare in kpop. All the girls you find prettier probably have plastic surgery done. Karina has had so much plastic surgery done, she looks like another person compared to predebut. Female idols like Ahyeon and Sullyoon who are 100% natural and never did eye and nose surgery are extremely rare.

So yeah, Ahyeon is naturally pretty and an all-rounder and here you are asking why she has hype? LOL
