It isn't. She was ALREADY an internal director and HYBE have to honor these specific terms of her shareholder agreement, as she holds 18% of ADOR.
This actually changed nothing about the current dispute and is largely irrelevant.
I want us all here to be smarter, or at least able to comprehend the situation when it's broken down this way.

Yes, there is toxic part to every fandom with many-many toxic users. It is big for armys because there are a lot of us out there. But if you want good interactions then you have to filter. There are many nice armys but when you focus on the bad you get swamped by that and don't see the good. Go into positive threads and interact sometimes with positive content and positive armys, your feed will thank you and your mind will thank you.
Just one note. I do agree with you that many people should not go to the extremes. And I judge them too but most of the times I don't have the energy to figh with lost cases. A sad fact is though that even without being rude many fans will be attacked for their fandoms because for example: an army hurt a bunny, then that bunny goes for another army and that another army goes for another bunny. Etc.
One of the most important things are to remember the exact user, not the fandom, you had a fight with.
And try to go into threads with positive content and do get to know the positive people.
And lastly, only fight when there is a bad will, not just a simple disagreement. Then just disagree.
The spoiler bit here is my biggest issue with this entire mindset of generalizing fandoms, and why I even commented on that thread about the bunnies being so quick to hostility against any dissenting view. Though I do not blame the bunnies, they've dealt with a lot and I see the disgusting comments from other fandoms. But I hate to see chill folks like yourself getting piled on for trying to have a discussion simply because of your fandom. So you did not go unnoticed!

This is funny because I guess I've only mostly been exposed to the noise music in kpop. But a few weeks ago I listened to GFRIEND for the first time ever and have been addicted to their discography. And some Apink songs as well. Just much different than most of the kpop I've listened to. I now find myself longing for a time in kpop I never even experienced lol.

As for their solo success, I would assume what they are doing is unprecedented in kpop. But isn't everything BP does unprecedented? They are pioneers, trailblazers, the best thing since sliced bread, etc. We shall never see another gg with members like BP where each is as big a star in their own right as the group itself. They simply transcend the average kpop gg
