Small agency groups doesn't really have an option. Mamamoo had to perform on the streets for a long time, even before their debut, and after that, too. The same goes for Bigbang and some others.
I worked with many musicians, and most of them said, they love performing in smaller venues, because it's more intimate and less pressure. For a rookie, this is a good thing. This is how they gain more experience, and will have better stage presence. Most mainstream groups can't have this, that's why they're not as good live and don't have better stage presence either. It's really hard to do this, but in a long-run it's worth it, especially if you're not using this as a stepping stone like many Idols.
I was unaware of that about Mamamoo-- them having to continue performing on the streets even after debuting.
I now know WiTCHX had to start from somewhere as a foundation.
What you said made a lot of sense, they have to garner stage presence so there will be minimal amount of mistakes when they do hit it big with future TV performances and indoor/outdoor concerts.
I probably should have searched and watched videos of them since I was wanting them to debut so much.

At least they're not in the "dungeon" like Blackpink was, which resulted in not a lot of comebacks and music.
I'd prefer them to be heavily promoted.

Same! So far, she's my bias in WiTCHX even tho all of them are really talented, but her deep voice is just something else. I don't really care about visuals, but yeah, she's not just pretty or hot, she's Badass! Her presence is something we usually don't see in Kpop. I don't think Quadruple is enough to describe her tbh, because she can sing, rap, and dance, also, like Soyeon, she produces, write and compose songs. This is when we say ACE! I hope their company won't mess this up.
A debut news would be nice. So far, they're doing smaller festival performances and Koreans already saying they're all-rounders.
The 5th gen looks stronger so far than the 4th gen.
Okay, she's an ace! What talent!
Doing small festivals must feel strange instead of officially debuting. That's good they're getting positive feedback. But, I hope they don't get pushed back to 2025 at this rate.
