Going by the progression on the charts safe for me to say this probably a smash hit. Im in kpop since 2016 and actually dont remember a bg winning on inkigayo purely on digitals

Still remember the sheer shock EXO brought to the kpop scene with the release of Monster. I got into kpop late 2015 and Monster era made me an EXO L. If you were not around back then you wont really grasp how huge EXO was. Well they are so iconic after 11 years continue to repeak. Very few bgs have ever had such big public relevance, had individual members famous within public as well as having enormous fandom.

I dont follow kpop for some time now and just realized like a week ago Riize is new SM bg. I am quite shocked. Their charting is really impressive. Ggs are dominating so hard kpop really needs a digitally dominant new bg. If they continue similar musical direction I predict a huge hit soon. They have a nice stand out sound and aesthetic for a bg. Fully support

Just registered to say this as a long time exol my heart is so warm. Not even in kpop anymore just checking time to time and ngl this really surprised me. I know this song would always trend during the season but this is beyond crazy. I dont even remember exo titles hitting melon daily number 1, let alone a bside. A decade old song doing that is so amazing
