Considering they debuted less than a year apart, I can compare their cumulative sales. BP's relative lack of releases ain't my fault, it's YG's, I'm just using the facts as they exist. It's not like they were immediately selling on par with Twice anyway, even when they did have music to release. It took them a while just to reach parity. To this day, Twice are still selling more albums in some places. It's not a matter of embarrasing anyone, it's just facts.
if we compare average sales of one twice album and one blackpink album back in 2019, the difference between sales were like at best like 100 to 150k like ktl 300k and fancy around 400 or 400 plus k. but twice sold 500k for one album in 2020 while bp was on million for TA. so idk what's with the selling on par difference you are trying to make. and yes the amount of total physicals releases do matter when it comes to cumulative sales, you really think bp with the same amount of physical releases wouldn't be obliterating the gg sales record, especially since 2020. you not caring wont change the facts and trying to bring streams to make their sales look dull in comparison makes you dumb because you should absolutely be having more streams when you have more songs and albums especially when we are comparing two groups under similar popularity levels.

but you were talking about bp selling less album while having impressive streaming stats when they still hold the best selling gg album. you cant compare cumulative sales of a gg that barely has 4 albums compared to one with multiple physical albums. and trying to compare streaming is way more embarrassing because mind you one girlgroup has like 30 original songs and one has over 100, in fact having more songs should definitely help you to get better cumulative streams.

don't you get tired picking on 4th gen groups who are only like 2 to 3yrs into their career, regarding touring stats, op lmao. mind u even twice and bp on some of their non asian stops, during their first world tour didnt have full 100%, yes kpop is bigger now, but groups need time to establish fandoms especially outside asia. the only one i can see doing is nj because they have huge global interest compared to their imminent peers

atp i think if you are a female wanting to be a kpop idol and willingly choose to go with yg, no one can help you, if minor, their parents should make better decisions. Not everybody can be blackpink and they will be the last top gg yg will have unless that fugly company ever decides to fix themselves but that's not going to happen.

what is there to be perplexed about? They literally have 0 promo, mismanaged and treated horribly (sadly expected when you are a yg gg but they have it worse somehow), absence of ahyeon (the reason knetz/k-gp don't really be bothering with them), snooze ballad that is fully in english released at 12am kst with 0 promo. The only thing they got going is whygee buying yt ads.
